Sexton tabbed to fill NCAA director of enforcement post

Cris Sexton has been promoted to the position of NCAA director of enforcement.

Sexton has been a member of the enforcement staff since 1995. She is the first woman to serve as an enforcement director.

Sexton joined the staff in 1995 as an enforcement representative and became a senior enforcement representative this year.

Before joining the NCAA staff, she served as an assistant district attorney in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Before that, she was an associate with the Fayetteville firm of J.B. Rouse and Associates.

Sexton has a bachelor's degree from Clemson University and a law degree from Campbell University.
