Division I Championships notice

Division I men's and women's swimming: The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee is soliciting proposed budgets from potential hosts for the 2001 and 2002 Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The Division I women's championships will be conducted March 15-17, 2001, and March 21-23, 2002, and the Division I men's championships will be held March 22-24, 2001, and March 28-30, 2002. Representatives of institutions or agencies interested in serving as host for the championships are invited to contact R. Wayne Burrow, NCAA assistant director of championships, at 913/339-1867.

Division I men's tennis: The Division I Men's Tennis Subcommittee is seeking bids for the 2001-04 championships. Representatives from institutions interested in hosting the event during those years should contact Tom Jacobs, NCAA assistant director of championships, at the national office (913/339-1906) to receive bid materials. The deadline for written bids is June 1, 1999. The subcommittee will review bids during its July 6-9, 1999, meeting.
