Search for director continues

Candidates are still being sought to replace Calvin Symons as director of the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse, operated by ACT, Inc., in Iowa City, Iowa.

Symons, who has been the only director of the Clearinghouse since it was established in 1993, resigned last spring but has continued as director during the summer/fall peak period for the Clearinghouse.

The NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse Committee is working with ACT to identify qualified candidates. The committee hopes to attract administrators with first-hand knowledge and understanding of NCAA initial-eligibility legislation as well as experience in managing complex information systems. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Persons interested in more information about the position and how to apply should visit ACT's Web site at www.act.org or call ACT Human Resources at 319/337-1026.
