Division I Board, Management Council nominations sought

A memorandum has been mailed to all Division I conferences represented in the governance structure regarding vacancies on the Division I Board of Directors and Management Council that will occur in January 1999.

Per the NCAA Constitution, conferences in each subdivision shall review together within the subdivision the open positions.

The Ivy Group and Midwestern Collegiate Conference will select new representatives.

For the Management Council, the following conferences have representatives who are eligible for reselection, based upon confirmation from the conference: Atlantic Coast Conference; Big East Conference; Big Ten Conference; Big 12 Conference; Southwestern Athletic Conference; Sun Belt Conference; Big West Conference/Mid-American Conference; and Division I-AAA at-large.
