Association certifies 57 summer leagues for 1998 competition

The Association has certified 57 summer basketball leagues so far this year for 1998 competition.

The leagues include 32 for men and 25 for women.

Student-athletes from NCAA institutions participate each summer in hundreds of leagues certified in accordance with NCAA Bylaws 14.7.5.2 and 30.15.

A complete list of certified basketball leagues can be obtained through the NCAA Fax-on-Demand System by calling 770/399-3060 (passcode 1915) and selecting request number 1120.

Questions about the application process for NCAA certification should be directed to Doug Archie, NCAA membership services representative, at the national office.
