Information desk back at Convention after successful debut

For the second year, the NCAA Convention will feature an information desk that the membership can use for a number of purposes.

The desk will be staffed by Dianna Lanz, who is a receptionist and switchboard operator at the national office.

The information desk may be reached by calling 404/588-2900 between January 10 and January 13. The desk will be set up in the registration area on the exhibit level of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, one of the hotels serving as co-headquarters for the Convention.

The membership reacted favorably to the creation of the information desk at the 1997 Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Callers from other Convention hotels may direct-dial the information desk for directions to meeting rooms, directions from hotel to hotel or relevant news, such as changes in meeting rooms.

Delegates who are trying to reach a particular individual are asked to use the hotel switchboard for that purpose.
