Baylor honors Hispanic Heritage Week

Baylor University's Hispanic Student Association celebrated the 10th annual Hispanic Heritage Week this month. The athletics logo was modified to Spanish to help identify the Heritage Week spirit. With a theme of "Abrazando y Definiendo Nuestra Cultura" (Embracing and Defining Our Culture), the week's activities provided an opportunity for the association to promote cultural awareness. A pinata party for children; a mixer for students; a "Noche de Cultura" featuring singing, dancing, reciting and musical talents of the association's members; and a Hispanic Heritage Week banquet were highlights during the week-long celebration.
