The town of Eastchester, New York, recently awarded Ricardo Quiles, a Concordia College (New York) volleyball player, with an official proclamation for public service. Quiles received the honor for his volunteer efforts in coordinating "Operation Outreach," a student-run program that assists homeless individuals and families in metropolitan New York. Quiles serves in Concordia's Student Government Association. Town Supervisor James Cavanaugh presented the award.
