Green selected as Division I assistant chief of staff

Robin J. Green, administrator for the NCAA Committee on Infractions since 1993, has been named assistant chief of staff for Division I.

Green replaces Jacqueline Hudson, who left the staff earlier this month to join the Atlantic 10 Conference as assistant commissioner for compliance.

As Division I assistant chief of staff, Green will work with the Division I Board of Directors and Management Council and also will assist the division's four cabinets.

Green earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University, where she also earned a law degree.

While working on the law degree, she served as compliance coordinator for Duke and the Atlantic Coast Conference.

She also has worked for a Washington, D.C., law firm.

In her capacity as administrator for the infractions committee, Green has written reports on the committee's decisions, coordinated announcements of the committee's decisions, maintained a comparative analysis of committee precedents and assisted the enforcement staff and member institutions in preparation for committee hearings.
