Joining Echols as committee members are Robertha Abney, associate director of athletics/senior woman administrator, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania; Charles J. Bertram, professor of mathematics/faculty athletics representative, University of Southern Indiana; James Fallis, director of athletics, University of Northern Colorado; Linda C. Hackett, director of athletics, Bryant College; Don Kaverman, director of athletics, Missouri Western State College; Monique Morgan, director of athletics, St. Paul's College; Ron Prettyman, director of athletics, California State University, Dominguez Hills; J. Phillip Roach, director of athletics, Rollins College; Mary Weber White, associate professor of English/faculty athletics representative, Lees-McRae College; and Grafton Young, director of athletics, Newberry College.

Julie Quickel, NCAA committee coordinator, will serve as staff liaison to the Division II Nominating Committee.

The committee's first meeting will be May 8-9, during which it will turn its attention to recommending nominees for vacancies on other Association-wide and Division II general committees that will begin operating August 1.

Later, the committee will review nominations of Division II representatives for Association-wide and division sports committees (see accompanying story on page 3).
