Army's Bush elected president of CABMA

New officers were elected and Levels I and II Management Institute sessions were conducted at the 47th annual convention of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) January 11-14 in Nashville, Tennessee.

New officers are Carol A. Bush, U.S. Military Academy, president; Peter L. Fields, University of Missouri, Columbia, first vice-president; Dennis Helsel, Syracuse University, second vice-president; and Greg Phillips, Florida State University, third vice-president.

Bush also was named CABMA business manager of the year at the annual awards luncheon.

Featured speakers at the Management Institute were Jim Francis, professor of management at Colorado State University, and Charles M. Neinas, executive director of the College Football Association.
