Marietta back sets single-game rushing record

A Marietta College running back rushed for 441 yards October 5 to set an NCAA single-game football record for all divisions.

Junior Dante Brown broke the three-year old record of 417 yards set by Carey Bender of Coe College and joined Bender as the only players at NCAA institutions to rush for more than 400 yards in a game.

Brown carried the ball 45 times and scored six touchdowns in Division III Marietta's 43-30 victory over Baldwin-Wallace College.
