2014 Convention

Early registration for Convention, Division I Dialogue ends October 14

Early registration for the January 15-18 2014 NCAA Convention in San Diego, California, will close Monday, Oct. 14.

The early registration fee for the Convention is $250 for NCAA members. Beginning Oct. 15, the fee increases to $375 for NCAA members.  The full, onsite registration rate for NCAA members will go into effect December 7.

Division I members who wish to participate in the Division I Governance Dialogue, planned for January 16-17 in connection with the Convention, can register for that event through the Convention site as well. There is no fee to attend the Division I Dialogue only.

Convention registration includes one ticket each to the Welcome Reception, Delegates Reception, Association Luncheon and Delegates Breakfasts. Convention attendees also will have the opportunity to receive one ticket to the Keynote Luncheon and Honors Celebration on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional tickets to the Delegates Reception and Welcome Reception are $40 each. Members who register for the Division I Dialogue only will not have access to these and other Convention offerings.

Delegates and Dialogue participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. Hotel rooms at the Convention rate are available to Dialogue attendees.  Space at the hotels is limited, so Convention and Dialogue attendee are urged to register early.

The main hotels for the Convention will be the San Diego Hilton Bayfront and San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. Events also will be held at the San Diego Convention Center. Additional sleeping rooms may be available through the Convention registration site at the Omni San Diego Hotel and Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
