Thanks to technology, it’s easy to stay connected to the happenings at NCAA Convention this week, even if you can’t make it to Indianapolis.

“By using our digital platforms, we are able to reach greater audiences than we ever have before,” said Ronnie Ramos, NCAA managing director of digital communications. “We’re excited to offer so many ways to stay connected at NCAA Convention.”

Check out news and video updates at the NCAA.org/convention website, which also is optimized for mobile devices. Watch live education sessions and find panelist bios and select presentation materials. Attendees can find maps and schedules to navigate Convention.

Thursday’s Opening Business Session is among eight events to be streamed live. Also to be streamed live is an Association-wide education session on building and engaging an online community. Dialogue is encouraged, and readers can ask questions of panelists through CoveritLive.

At the Association’s main Facebook page, check out photo galleries, video updates and session news. Also follow the action at Twitter.com/InsidetheNCAA and contribute to the conversation by using the hashtag #NCAAConv.

"It is important for attendees to be engaged with the content and each other and social media provides yet another channel to do that, as well as help those not attending feel like they are still a part of the NCAA Convention," said Dana Thomas, NCAA assistant director of social media strategies.
