Shenandoah named Blake Campbell head strength and conditioning coach. Campbell is a 2011 Shenandoah graduate and spent the spring of 2011 as a strength and conditioning intern at James Madison. Campbell played football for the Hornets.

Other transactions

Associate athletics directors – Kennesaw State hired Padraic McMeel as associate athletics director for development. McMeel spent the last three years at Missouri State.

Coaches

Michigan State awarded head football coach Mark Dantonio with a new contract. Dantonio has coached the Spartans since 2007.

Conferences

TCU accepted an invitation to join the Big 12 Conference in all sports effective July 1, 2012.
