Hunter tabbed Shay Berry as its head men’s basketball coach. Berry comes from Dartmouth, where he spent five years as an assistant coach. Berry has over 20 years of coaching experience overall, with other stops at Fordham, New York University and Yale.

Men’s and women’s ice hockey assistants – Brown named Andrew McPhee assistant women’s ice hockey coach. McPhee was previously the head coach at Trinity (Connecticut) … Castleton hired Laurie Bowler and Lisa Wilson as assistant women’s ice hockey coaches.

Men’s and women’s lacrosse assistants – Keene State added Matt Griffin and Alec Corliss to its men’s lacrosse coaching staff as assistants. Griffin previously coached at the high school level, while Corliss was a volunteer assistant with the Owls last season … Dom DeNapoli is the new assistant men’s lacrosse coach at St. John’s (New York).

Bowling Green has accepted an invitation to join the Western Collegiate Hockey Association for the 2013-14 season.

DePauw head volleyball coach Deb Zellers collected her 400^th career victory on October 1. Zellers is in her 18^th season at the helm of the Tigers.

Former Temple softball and women’s basketball coach Veronica “Ronnie” Maurek passed away at the age of 66.

• Division II Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee. One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Tim Gotto, formerly of Lewis. There are no restrictions on this appointment. Committee members should have significant compliance/legislative knowledge or background.
• Division II Men’s Soccer Committee. One immediate vacancy. The appointee will replace Tim Gotto, formerly of Lewis. The appointee must be from the Midwest region and may be a coach or administrator.
