Arkansas’ associate athletic director for student-athlete academic development and advancement, Melissa Harwood-Rom, is moving to the University side as associate dean of students. Hardwood-Rom began with the athletic department in 1989. Eric Wood, the associate athletic director for student-athlete development, will serve as the interim director of student-athlete academic support and achievement.

Football -- Missouri Southern State head football coach Bart Tatum announced his resignation. Tatum will remain with the program as a consultant during the transition period before a new coach is hired. Tatum spent six years at the helm of the Lions … Dennis Wagner, head football coach at Western Carolina, resigned. This was the fourth season of Wagner’s tenure. Assistant Head Coach Mark Rhea takes over on an interim basis.
