Runners and walkers are invited to participate in the 2011 4KayRun on Saturday, April 2, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The run is hosted by the NCAA in conjunction with the 2011 Women’s Final Four.
The fourth annual run honors Kay Yow, former North Carolina State University head women’s basketball coach who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2009. Proceeds from the run will benefit cancer research through the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with The V Foundation and the WBCA.
The first 1,500 registrants and donors will receive an official 4Kay Run T-shirt, provided by the NCAA and Nike. Packet pick-up and registration will be from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Plaza and the run will begin at 8 a.m.
The pre-registration fee is $20 and event-day registration will be $25. Click here for additional event information or to pre-register. For additional information on the events surrounding the Women’s Final Four please visit www.NCAA.com/finalfour.
