Wisconsin-La Crosse selected attorney Josh Whitman as director of athletics. Whitman succeeds Joe Baker, who accepted the athletics director position at Carroll (Wisconsin). Whitman was a football student-athlete at Illinois from 1997 to 2001 and was on staff in the athletics department from 2005 to 2008, first as a development associate and then as an assistant to the athletics director.

Other transactions

Associate director of athletics – Oberlin senior associate director of athletics Kiki Jacobs left for a similar position at Springfield … Roxanne Levenson, associate athletics director at Pepperdine, accepted a similar position at Seattle.

Assistant director of athletics – Fairfield selected Joseph Klauder as assistant athletics director for compliance/recruiting. Klauder was an assistant director of athletics compliance at Hofstra the past two years.

Coaches

Men's and women's lacrosse – Mike Plantholt was named head coach of the men's lacrosse program at Ohio Wesleyan. Plantholt was the head coach of the men's lacrosse program at Randolph-Macon.

Men's and women's cross country and track and field assistants – Katie Beaverson was named an assistant coach of the men's and women's cross country and track and field programs at Florida Southern.

Men's and women's ice hockey assistants – Logan Bittle, a former student-athlete on the men's ice hockey team at Robert Morris, was named an assistant coach for the women's ice hockey program.

Men's and women's volleyball assistants – La Salle hired former Delaware State student-athlete Cassandra Joyner as an assistant coach with the women's volleyball program … Colorado State-Pueblo named Stephanie Vidick assistant coach of the women's volleyball program. Vidick was most recently a coach at the club level.

Staff

Sports information – Josh Reilly was named assistant sports information director at Mount Union. Reilly spent the past two seasons as an assistant director of athletics communications at Allegheny.
