Coker baseball coach Dave Schmotzer won his 500th career game Sunday when his Cobras won the second game of a doubleheader against Conference Carolinas foe Limestone.
Coker lost the first game, 6-4, but was able to pick up a 7-3 win in the second.
The win gives Schmotzer 500 wins at Coker. It also gives Coker 500 wins as a program, as Schmotzer is the only coach to lead the Cobras in their 18-year history. The coach and the school are now 500-369-2 all-time.
