Armstrong Atlantic State captured its third consecutive Division II Women's Tennis Championship with a 5-1 victory Saturday over BYU-Hawaii in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
The Pirates, who lost to BYU-Hawaii in the 2006 title match, avenged that loss with a dominant performance. Armstrong Atlantic won two doubles and three singles matches before the remaining matches were left unfinished.
The Pirates surrendered only one point in winning their four matches at the championship site. [More]
