Marketing staffs in Division I can once again compete in the NCAA women's basketball "Pack the House" challenge that will take place during the 2010-11 basketball season.

This is the fourth year that institutions and conferences can compete to draw the most fans to a single, designated game. Institutions will compete against schools in their own conference and against all other Division I participants that take part in the challenge.

Each institution must submit an intent-to-participate form by November 5 to be eligible to compete in the challenge. Last year, 181 schools participated in the competition, drawing more than 511,638 fans to Division I women's basketball games.

Sixty-five schools set a single game attendance record for the 2009-10 season.

Eleven programs (Army, Central Michigan, Duke, Houston Baptist, Jacksonville, Long Beach State, Marist, Middle Tennessee State, Niagara, Prairie View A&M and Xavier) had sellouts, which is the highest total in the three-year history of the Pack the House Challenge. Marist is the only school to record a sellout for three consecutive years of Pack the House Challenge, while Duke, Niagara and Central Michigan have recorded sellouts for their Pack the House games in two of the last three seasons.

Since the program began three years ago, 1,662,886 fans have attended Pack the House challenge games.
