The Duke Blue Devils held on to beat Butler, 61-59, to earn their fourth national title, and their first since 2001, behind the play of Kyle Singler, Jon Scheyer and Nolan Smith in Lucas Oil Stadium Monday night.

Singler scored 19 points, Scheyer added 15 and Smith 13. But they had to survive a last-second half-court shot by Butler's Gordon Hayward that rimmed out at the final buzzer to secure the win. [More]
