The following is a summary of Division I news from the week of February 8-12.
- The Committee on Athletics Certification is looking for administrators to serve on peer review teams for Cycle 3 of the athletics certification program, which will begin campus evaluation visits in fall 2010. The application is available online.
- The Division I Administration Cabinet appointed 105 people to serve on various Division I and Association-wide committees, including the Committee on Women's Athletics and the Men's Basketball Committee.
- The Administration Cabinet also moved ahead on the governance assessment tool, indicating a desire to survey exiting members about their experiences as they leave the structure.
