    Committee nominations sought

    The NCAA is soliciting nominations for vacancies on the Olympic Sports Liaison Committee, Men's and Women's Fencing Committee, Men's Gymnastics Committee, Women's Gymnastics Committee and Division I Women's Lacrosse Committee.

    Conferences may submit nominations online.

    The Olympic Sports Liaison Committee has one immediate vacancy to replace Kellie Elliott, formerly of Florida State. The appointee may be from any subdivision. The committee prefers a nominee with Olympic or international sport experience, campus experience with one or more Olympic sports, campus experience with international student-athletes, work experience with national governing bodies and/or the United States Olympic Committee and familiarity with NCAA amateurism regulations.

    The Men's and Women's Fencing Committee has one September 2010 vacancy for someone who represents women's fencing interests in the Mid-Atlantic/South region. The nominee can be from any division or subdivision and can be a coach or an administrator.

    The Men's Gymnastics Committee has two September 2010 vacancies that can be filled by coaches or administrators in the West region from any subdivision or division.

    The Women's Gymnastics Committee also has two September 2010 vacancies that can be filled by coaches or administrators from the South Central and Central regions representing any subdivision.

    The Division I Women's Lacrosse Committee has one September 2010 vacancy for an administrator from any subdivision representing any region except the Mid-Atlantic.
