LuAnn Humphrey has been promoted to director of enforcement for the national office's basketball focus group.

Humphrey has been with the NCAA enforcement staff since 1999. She had been an associate director.

The basketball focus group, created in June 2008, is a three-person group in enforcement dedicated solely to men's basketball.

Before joining the NCAA, Humphrey was an attorney in private practice after serving in the U.S. Air Force as a judge advocate general. Humphrey received degrees from the University of Indianapolis and a juris doctorate from Indiana University in 1987.
