The 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships will be played at the Capital City Club/Crabapple Course in Atlanta on May 28-June 2.
The event, which will be hosted by Georgia Tech, originally was to have been played at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
“The committee is pleased to award the 2013 championship to Georgia Tech and the Capital City Club/Crabapple Course,” said Darin Spease, chair of the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee and senior associate athletic director at Charlotte. “We are confident that Georgia Tech’s outstanding hosting capabilities over the last several years, combined with the remarkable job that Capital City Club/Crabapple Course did at the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf regionals, will provide a memorable championship experience for our student-athletes.”
Georgia Tech golf coach Bruce Heppler said: “Georgia Tech is excited to have the opportunity to provide a championship experience that golf student-athletes deserve.”
