Brett Hawke, who has served as an assistant swimming coach at Auburn for the past three seasons, has been named co-head coach of the men’s and women’s programs. Hawke will oversee all day-to-day operations of both programs in consultation with head coach Richard Quick. Hawke has overseen the men’s program since Quick was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in December 2008, helping lead the team to the 2009 NCAA championship as well as the Southeastern Conference title.

Men’s and women’s golf – Todd Kolean was named the coach of the men’s and women’s golf teams at New York University.

Men’s and women’s soccer – Fairleigh Dickinson signed men’s soccer coach Seth Roland to a three-year contract extension.

Softball – Gwen Lewis announced her retirement from coaching after 18 seasons as the softball coach at Evansville.

Men’s and women’s tennis Kent Shultz resigned his position as the men’s and women’s tennis coach at Nebraska-Kearney.

Men’s and women’s volleyball – Heather Stelzer resigned as the women’s volleyball coach at Wisconsin Lutheran.

Wrestling – Iowa State named Kevin Jackson wrestling coach. … Don Parker is retiring after 32 seasons as coach of the Wisconsin-Eau Claire wrestling team.
