The RecordMike Rhoades resigned after 10 seasons at the helm of the Randolph-Macon men’s basketball program to be an assistant men’s coach at VCU. Rhoades’ Randolph-Macon teams amassed 197 wins, four trips to the NCAA Division III tournament. Rhoades is a 1995 graduate of Lebanon Valley, where he was a member of the Dutchmen’s 1994 Division III championship team.

Coaches
Men’s basketball – Virginia State hired George White as head men’s basketball coach … Portland State chose Tyler Geving as its head men’s basketball coach.
Men’s basketball assistants – Nevada selected Keith Brown as an assistant men’s basketball coach.
Women’s basketball – Manhattan hired John Olenowski as the seventh head women’s basketball coach in program history. Olenowski brings 19 years of coaching experience from both the collegiate and high school ranks … Flagler head women’s basketball coach Sherri Abbey-Nowatzki resigned.
Men’s and women’s golf – Tom Inczauskis was hired as head women’s golf coach at Methodist. Inczauskis currently serves as director of the university’s PGA Golf Management Program. He will replace Vici Pate at the end of the 2009 season. Pate announced her resignation in November. A member of the Methodist faculty since 2005, Inczauskis completed the school’s MBA program in 2007.
Women’s volleyball assistants – IPFW selected Jasmine Fullove as an assistant women’s volleyball coach.
Men’s and women’s soccer – Cornell hired Jaro Zawislan as head men’s soccer coach.
Staff
Compliance – Indiana named Mary Ann Rohleder as associate athletics director for compliance.
Student development – Indiana appointed Grace Calhoun as associate athletics director for student development and academics.
Operations – Indiana named Tim Fitzpatrick as senior associate athletics director for internal operations, Scott Dolson as senior associate athletics director for external operations, Chris Reynolds as senior associate athletics director for regulatory affairs and Mike Roberts as assistant athletics director for ticket operations.
Athletic training/strength and conditioning – Andy Hipskind was named assistant athletics director for sports medicine at Indiana. The school also appointed Mark Wateska as assistant athletics director for strength and conditioning.
