Carroll hired Kevin Trigonis to coach its offensive line in football and the throwers in the Pioneers’ track and field program. Trigonis had been a football and track and field assistant at Amherst. He also has coaching experience at St. Lawrence and Salve Regina.

Men’s basketball – Fayetteville State did not renew Samuel Hanger’s contract. Hanger has been with the Broncos since 1998.

Deaths – Former Delaware lacrosse student-athlete Charles Robert “Bob” Tait died February 25. He was 73. Tait was one of the Blue Hens’ all-time leading scorers.
