Canisius awarded head women’s basketball coach Terry Zeh with a contract extension through the 2012-13 season. In five seasons in charge of the program, Zeh has guided the Golden Griffins to a 92-62 record, the 2005 MAAC championship and the program’s first WNIT appearance in the 2008-09.

Men’s soccer – Detroit Mercy head coach Morris Lupenec resigned midway through his 18th season at the school. Lupenec, a three-time Horizon coach of the year, was just the second head coach in the history of the program and is credited with a total of 150 career victories with the Titans. Assistant coach Nick Deren was chosen as interim head coach.
