Former Greensboro Athletics Director Kim Strable, whose position at the college was eliminated last month, was named president of the Greensboro Sports Commission. Strable is one of the sports commission’s founding board members and has been a member of the executive committee for eight years. He has helped bring several sporting events to Greensboro in recent years, including the NCAA Division III men’s and women’s soccer finals.
