The Illinois Board of Trustees approved a three-year contract extension and raise for men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber. This is the fourth extension for Weber, who was hired April 30, 2003, to a five-year contract. He earned a one-year extension in 2004, a two-year extension in 2005 and a one-year extension in 2006. This latest three-year extension has the Illini coach under contract through the end of the 2014-15 season.
