The NCAA is soliciting nominations by July 17 for the following Division III committee vacancies. Nominations must be submitted online here (the Division III access code is committee3; the Division III password is 2006).

Division III Nominating Committee: One immediate vacancy (the appointee will replace the late Dennis Collins, North Coast Athletic Conference) and one January 2010 vacancy. One appointee must be a former Council member; one appointee must be a male; and one appointee must be from Region 1 (Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont). Committee information here.

Division III Baseball Committee: One September 2009 vacancy. The appointee must be from the South region and may be a coach or administrator. Eligible conferences – Capital Athletic Conference, Great South Conference, Landmark Conference (Catholic University), Old Dominion Athletic Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, University Athletic Association (Emory University).
