Division III rewindFollowing is a summary of Division III news from the week of May 4-8:
• The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference , a new football-only league, will debut this fall after the approval of active conference membership by the Division III Presidents Council.
• Hiram junior softball student-athlete Whitney Dropsey struck out for the first time in her collegiate career, after 354 at-bats and two Division III “Toughest to Strike Out” awards.
• Student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recently helped “rebuild” the Twin Cities, and it was all in a day’s work.
