Following is a summary of Division III news from the week of August 31-September 4.

• Division III delegates to the 2010 Convention will be asked to vote on conference-sponsored legislative proposals dealing with football “walkthrough” practice sessions and transfer eligibility.
• The first day of September was the first day of competition for fall sports teams in Division III.
• The American Southwest Conference Council of Presidents recently approved a no-tolerance statement addressing unsporting behavior to be issued to ASC student-athletes, coaches, game officials and administrators.
• Athletics teams at Rosemont, which began admitting male students this year, have a new identity as the men’s soccer squad becomes the first team to display a recently unveiled Ravens insignia.
