• Four schools will become active Division III members September 1, boosting the division’s active membership to 433 institutions.
• The Division III Women’s Golf Committee is asking the Division III Championships Committee to consider relaxing contest and participant minimums for championship automatic qualification.
• Baseball and men’s tennis teams at Wisconsin-La Crosse attracted enough donor support to ensure continued sponsorship by the school through 2009-10.
• New Jersey City and William Paterson are adding men’s golf as varsity sports during 2010-11, after fielding club teams during the coming academic year.
