The NCAA is soliciting nominations for the several committee vacancies with terms beginning September 1, 2009. Committees include the Division II Nominating Committee and several sport committees.

The deadline for submitting nomination materials is March 13. Nominations must be submitted online (the Division II access code is membership2, and the Division II password is service).

Following are the committee positions being filled:

•         Division II Nominating Committee. One vacancy. Preference will be given to South region nominees. Eligible South region conferences: Gulf South, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic, Sunshine State. For committee information, click here.

•         Division II Baseball Committee. One vacancy. East region, coach or administrator. Eligible East region conferences: Central Atlantic Collegiate, East Coast, Northeast-10. For committee information, click here.

•         Division II Men’s Basketball Committee. One vacancy. South region, coach or administrator. Eligible South region conferences: Gulf South, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic, Sunshine State. For committee information, click here.

•         Division II Field Hockey Committee. One vacancy. North region, administrator. Eligible institutions: Adelphi, American International, Assumption, Bentley, Bryant, Franklin Pierce, Massachusetts-Lowell, Merrimack, Saint Anselm, Saint Michael’s, Stonehill.
