• The Division II community-engagement Web site has been a big “hit” since its inception two years ago, with more than 6 million hits registered.
• After runner-up finishes in the last four Division II Football Championship games, Northwest Missouri State won the big trophy with a 30-23 victory over Grand Valley State.
• While Grand Valley State may have finished second in football, the Lakers can boast two NCAA Elite 88 award winners in football and women’s soccer.
• Regis (Colorado) men’s basketball coach Lonnie Porter earned his 500th career victory December 12.
