Following is a summary of Division II news from the week of November 2-6.

• The Division II Legislation Committee is opposing two amendment-to-amendments that would modify some of the proposals in the Life in the Balance package heading to the 2010 Convention.
• Angelo State Athletics Director Kathleen Brasfield will become the new chair of the Division II Management Council after the 2010 Convention.
• Bluefield State President Albert Walker will join the Division II Presidents Council in January. Also, four new members have been appointed to the Division II Management Council for terms beginning in January.
• Coker College is adding women’s golf in 2010-11.
