Western Collegiate Hockey Association Assistant Commissioner Carol LaBelle-Ehrhardt has published a children’s book called “Mom Mom Can Swing Again” that will raise money for cancer research.

The book describes the experiences of Susie, a girl whose mother is diagnosed with and treated for cancer. It is based on LaBelle-Ehrhardt’s experience as a cancer survivor and mother of two children.

LaBelle-Ehrhardt was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2006 and was treated with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Her book is an effort to help children of diagnosed parents.

The book is available at www.mymomcanswingagain.com. A quarter of the proceeds will be donated to the National Foundation for Cancer Research.
