The Horizon League recently launched a redesigned and customizable Web site for its Horizon League Network.

The site provides visitors with hundreds of live and on-demand videos as well as the ability to interact with each other through social-media platforms.

The site, called HLN, includes access to the Facebook and Twitter pages, an integrated blog and a news feed. Fans can view, download and share photos from conference championships via the photo-sharing site Flickr. Fans also can sort the site’s content so only one of the conference’s 10 teams is visible.

“We are excited to launch the next-generation HLN Web site with our partners at WebStream Productions,” said Horizon League Commissioner Jon LeCrone.

WebStream Productions, a sports web production company, worked with Livestream, a live-broadcast platform, to remake the HLN site.

The league launched HLN in late 2006 but began Web-streaming conference events much earlier. The site produces hundreds of events annually.
