The NCAA is soliciting Division I nominations for the several sports committee vacancies. The deadline for submitting nomination materials is July 31. All nominations must be submitted through conference offices.

The Division I Women’s Soccer Committee has a vacancy in September 2009. The appointee must be from a Football Championship Subdivision or Division I institution that does not sponsor football in the Southeast region. The nominee must be a coach or administrator. The Big South, Southern and Atlantic Sun conferences are eligible. For more information, click here.

The Division I Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Committee has two September 2009 vacancies. One appointee must represent diving and one must represent men’s swimming. One appointee must be female. Individuals from Region B (Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia) and Region E (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming) are encouraged to submit nominations. The Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Rules Committee has one September 2009 vacancy. The appointee must represent women’s ice hockey interests and may be a coach or administrator.
