Tebow, Kildow lead football Academic All-Americans

Florida’s Tim Tebow and Beau Kildow of Morningside were named Academic All-Americans of the year by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Tebow is the first student-athlete to be honored as Academic All-American of the year for the university division in football for two consecutive years. He has led Florida to two national championships and a four-year record of 46-7. In 2007, he became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy.

A two-time selection as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Morningside’s Kildow has a school-record 35 career touchdowns scored.
