The registration deadline for the 2009 NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference is February 6 at 8 p.m. Pacific Time (11 p.m. Eastern).

Campus administrators and coaches can nominate student-athletes online: http://web1.ncaa.org/studentathletedevelopment/exec/leadershipLogin.

Institutions registering student-athletes for the first time must contact Curtis J. Hollomon at chollomon@ncaa.org or 317/917-6324 to request a user ID and password for the registration system.  For a complete list of attendance requirements, click here.

The national conference will take place May 24-27 at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Spring Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.  The conference is provided at no cost to participating student-athletes and is open to the first 700 NCAA member institutions that properly register their student-athletes. The four-day conference consists of daily color team sessions, exercises, speakers and activities to help the student-athlete attendees develop as individuals and contributing members to society.

The 2009 conference theme is “A Journey of Self-Discovery: Unfold Your Future.” Programming will focus on self exploration, foundation building, skill application and interactive training conducted in conjunction with the U.S. Army.
