Time to change the foul shot substitution rule

The NCAA Basketball Rules Committee may want to reconsider a little-known substitution rule that allows a teammate to substitute an injured player on a foul shot.

Florida International cuts athletics budget

Florida International University announced Tuesday it needs to trim $1 million from its athletics budget for the upcoming fiscal year, beginning July 1.

Yesterday, all the NCAA Web sites were down due to a power outage at our ISP. Staff was without access to e-mail and the Double-A Zone wasn't functioning again until the evening. As a result, we weren't able to recap Tuesday's crazy night in women's basketball.
