South Carolina's Jersey-gate is over
South Carolina recruit Alshon Jeffery agreed to wear No. 1 for the Gamecocks. Jeffery had hoped to wear No. 2, the retired jersey of Sterling Sharpe, but Sharpe was less than thrilled to left Jeffery wear it.

The Boston University men's hockey team won the coveted Beanpot yesterday over cross-town rival Northeastern, 5-2. The Beanpot has been played since 1952 and is contested between Boston-area schools Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern and Harvard.
