Last week we wrote about Florida high school baseball player Patrick Schuster on the cusp of breaking the all-time consecutive no-hitter record for high school players. Tonight Schuster goes for number five.
In other no-hitter news, 12-year-old Mackenzie Brown earned the right to throw out the first pitch at Citi Field on Saturday, following news of her perfect game. She was the first girl to pitch a no-hitter in Bayonne Little League history, retiring 18 boys.

Athletics clearance sale nets UNLV $50,000
A couple weeks ago UNLV held a garage sale of athletics apparel and equipment. All the school's sports teams are switching to Nike. The sale was a huge success, and the school made $50,000. The profits will go to student-athlete scholarships...
