Coach Summitt seeks 1,000 career win
Tennessee's Pat Summitt goes against Oklahoma at 7:30 tonight in hopes of getting her 1,000th career win. Bob Knight (calling his first women's college basketball game) and Brent Musburger will be the commentators.

 

Coach Yow mural defaced at NC State
A mural in N.C. State University's Free Expression Tunnel to honor women's basketball coach Kay Yow, who died Jan. 24 after a long struggle with breast cancer, was defaced Saturday with blue paint and offensive language.

 

Texas Tech coach runs back onto court
Texas Tech coach Pat Knight was ejected after running onto the court to protest a call in the Red Raiders' 82-69 loss to Nebraska on Saturday night. With about nine minutes remaining in the game, Knight erupted off the bench and sprinted across the floor to protest a call.

 

President Obama's message for Gator fans

Eastern Michigan captures 11th consecutive perfect season
Cogratulations to the Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team. The team defeating Miami University (Ohio) on Saturday. The victory marked the 53rd consecutive Mid-American Conference dual meet win for the Eagles, as well as the team's 11th consecutive perfect conference season.

 

Groundhog sees a longer winter
Happy Groundhog Day! The world's most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning. It means we can expect six more weeks of winter.

 

School uses Twitter to announce football signings
