Jarron Gilbert jumps out of pool
Have you seen the YouTube video of San Diego State's Jarron Gilbert (allegedly) jumping out of a pool? The clip shows Gilbert, from a crouched position under about three feet of water, leaping out of a swimming pool onto the deck and landing on his feet.

Michigan tops Penn State in football attendance
According to the NCAA, Michigan averaged about 108,500 fans for each of its home football games last season. Penn State ranked second with about 108,200 per contest.

Memphis keeps FedEx jerseys in the closet
The University of Memphis had considered wearing orange and purple FedEx-inspired basketball jerseys during tongiht's game against SMU.
